See It: This flower is easy to find and enjoy in North America. The brown-eyed Susan (also known as black-eyed Susan and Rudbeckia hirta) is native to eastern and central North America and can now be found in all 48 contiguous United States and all 10 Canadian Provinces. If you are from Maryland, you should recognize this as the state flower. Several Native American tribal nations use the brown-eyed Susan as a medicinal herb. More about brown-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta).
Shoot It: This shot was using a Canon 7D (crop factor 1.6), Canon EF-S10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 at 18mm and f/11, 1/13 sec, and ISO100, handheld, on June 30, 2017 at 7:14 AM. Basic adjustments were made in Photoshop Lightroom.
Improve It: How did I blur the flowers in this shot to depict their movement? What problems are you having with your photographs? Let me know at Inquiries@GibsonOutdoorPhoto.com and I will share some tips to overcome these issues in a future blog post.
