See It: Tucson Mountain Park is amazing and convenient, just 30 minutes from central Tucson, Arizona, USA. Here you can see hundreds of the famous, tall, and long-lived saguaro (səˈ(g)wärō) cactus. There are several pullouts along the highway where you can park and walk on- or off-trail. But do be careful while enjoying this spectacular desert wonderland; a wide variety of thorny cacti are all about, including the apt-named ‘jumping’ cholla. More about Tucson Mountain Park, saguaro cactus, cholla cactus.

Shoot It: This shot was using a Canon 7D (crop factor 1.6), Canon EF-S10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 at 10mm and f/8, 1/125 sec, and ISO200, handheld, on Aug 8, 2017 at 6:44 PM. Basic adjustments were made in Photoshop Lightroom.

Improve It: What do you notice about the overall color of this shot? Why is it this color? What problems are you having with your photographs? Let me know at Inquiries@GibsonOutdoorPhoto.com and I will share some tips to overcome these issues in a future blog post.
